ROB ZOMBIE Completes Movie, Prepares Headlining Run
January 9, 2002According to ROB ZOMBIE's official web site at www.robzombie.com, the singer is currently completing work on his eagerly-awaited movie House of 1000 Corpses by adding new scenes to the original version, and editing and recording the film's soundtrack. No release date has yet been announced for the movie, but it is believed that it should finally see the light of day before the end of the summer. In other news, ROB will head into the studio shortly to record a version of THE RAMONES' "Blitzkrieg Bop" for the upcoming RAMONES tribute album, and he is expected to return to the road in early March on a headlining run that will also include punk rock legends THE DAMNED and Flawless recording artists SINISSTAR. Dates and venues will be announced shortly for the trek, which will mark the shock rocker's first headlining tour in support of the recently gold-certified The Sinister Urge (for sales in excess of 500,000 copies in the US alone). Also on the ZOMBIE front, look for the singer to appear in an upcoming episode of MTV's Cribs.
